Aggregate
is a granular material, for instance, sand, rock, squashed stone, pounded water
fueled bond, or iron effect radiator slag, used with a weight driven hardening
medium to make either concrete or mortar.

Coarse Aggregates
Those particles that are overwhelmingly hung on the 4.75 mm (No.
4) strainer, are called Coarse Aggregates coarse downright
Coarse Aggregates
Those particles passing the 9.5 mm (3/8 in.) sifter, totally
passing the 4.75 mm (No. 4) sifter, and dominatingly hung on the 75 µm (No.
200) strainer are called fine aggregate
